The deadline for each contest is the last day of its assigned month. You must get your entry in by 6:00AM (EST) the following day (the 1st) to be considered during the voting process.

If you win this time around, here's what your prize will look like. (Art donated by the lovely =bjorkubus.)

For this theme, be sure to:

1 ) Include the pairing KibaHina (whether romantic or not).

2 ) Utilize dogs or Kiba’s innate abilities in some way. (Ex: have Kiba lick Hinata on the cheek, let them both hold Akamaru’s leash while they take him for a walk, have Kiba sniff Hinata’s butt, etc.)

3 ) I know you’re getting sick of hearing this, but BE CREATIVE! All pairings deserve love.

Okay, it's the first of the month so we've got to do the voting thing now...

The voting session will last between the 1st of August and the 7th, ending exactly at midnight, EST on the latter date. Just like the submission deadline, there is a six-hour extension to account for time zone differences. Thus, if you manage to submit your vote(s) by 6AM on August 8th, 2008 it (they) can still be counted. To vote, please respond to this journal entry.

We ask that you PLEASE submit a vote for both the fanart AND fanfiction sections of this contest. This is not a requirement, but we STRONGLY URGE you to show all of our contestants this courtesy.

You are NOT required to be a member of this group to vote. Simply reply to this journal as dictated above and your vote will be counted.

For when your love is so strong you feel like your heart is going to burst into a million, glittery little pieces...

Not as bad as last month, right? Hehe. Anyway...

2 ) Place them in a nighttime summer setting (Ex: so that they can enjoy fireworks, ignore them for a better distraction, play with sparklers, etc.)

3 ) Utilize fireworks in some way (you might even consider a random, Naruto-caused explosion as a firework).

4 ) Be creative! Fireworks can form pictures and spell out words, y’know.

Ugh, is that bad poetry worthy, or what? Anyway...

2 ) Utilize insects in some way (Ex: have them catching fireflies at night, observing a ladybug on a flower, have Shino protect Hinata from a bug she finds “scary,” etc.)

3 ) Be creative! I know the bug thing can be kind of creepy for those of you who hate insects, but some of them are more cutesy than others (most people like butterflies and dragonflies, right?)

With everyone out for summer vacation, we expect a lot of participation this month ^_~ Nah, really, have fun with it!
